Parallel watching two Japanese series on Netflix - Jin and Galileo. Jin is about a brain surgeon that somehow wakes up back in the Shogun/Emperor time (Edo period). Galileo is about a science professor that helps the police department solve crimes. The latest episode I watched the lead actor from Jin appeared on Galileo as a kind of faith healer. During a discussion between the two the professor asked if he would prefer it if medicine was as it was during the Edo period. Need to check when they were both made to see if it was a knowing bit of banter of if some TV exec said afterwards “yes, let’s make this”.

I'll admit to never having been a huge fan of Sylvester Stallone, but have just finished Tulsa King on Netflix and I have to say, he was excellent in it. Really enjoyed both seasons and fully expect season 3 to appear at some point.

Currently watching Temple on Sky. Stretches the imagination a bit (like so many dramas these days), but it's a novel idea and I'm enjoying it more and more as it goes on. Stars Mark Strong and Daniel Mays.
