Tasted the rhubarb gin this weekend and it's superb! The problem now is that my wife is on it and inviting her friends to try it. Went into the garden yesterday but the rhubarb is now past its best. I'll either have to buy the rhubarb or she'll have to wait until next summer for more. So simple to make but incredibly good.
 
I cut the rhubarb into inch lengths steep in just sugar overnight then add the gin. I leave for two months filter through muslin and bottle. Also made sloe, damson and raspberry gins all to be ready for Xmas. You can also add ginger to the rhubarb gin.
