If you struggled setting the timer on the video when they first came out this will not interest you :laugh8:

I'm old enough to remember and appreciate the original and this new beast looks amazing.
However as I'm 'old' I looked at it and thought "it's too low for me, me back'll never manage getting in and out of that"

Very nice though!

In work we told a "clever person" that our machine wasn't running due to the "flux capacitor" being broken....this person then proceeded to call the engineering department to ask when they would get a new one...who fell about laughing.
Another manager also phoned round looking for "dilithium crystals".
I kid you not.

This bears all the hallmarks of sending the lad to the works stores for a tin of elbow grease.
And back later on for a can of striped paint.

I remember hearing of DeLorean only after the drug scandal, reading the article in Knack. That somewhere in the second half of the eighties probably.

However, once, when driving from work to home (some 12-15 years ago), I drove behind a car which looked weird, because of its shiny metal finish. I looked somewhat better, and then I saw "DeLorean". Probably a once in a lifetime opportunity to see such a car here in Belgium on the road.
