That would be very similar to the Dutch Black Peter. . . I believe the Anti Santa myth is very common on the continent.

The Greeks certainly have an Anti Santa

I think that he may have had a similar origin to Krampus, but they are very different today. Zwarte Piet is now more like Santa's jolly black friend that gives kids candy. Krampus is still freaking scary here.
