Some of you may have remembered from last year I am not a fan of the festering season, and I struggle to find joy in the whole affair, even with two young boys.

However this year I have decided to put up the decorations early..........................

well not in the house obviously, but my avatar.

I hope I add some joy to the proceddings.

ps. looking forward to secret santa though. :thumb:

I enjoy Christmas on Christmas Eve/Day/Boxing Day :thumb:

the rest ........

Mind you this year, there's only me and MrsC, we've run out of parents now and the kids are away, son with partner @ her parents, daughter in Oz :hmm: so we're buggering off on a cruise for 2 weeks in the warm and being waited on hand and foot

I got one of those Baz, must say you look happy than me.

As for a festive Avatar I can't even get a normal one uploaded...

I'm off work for a week before Christmas and the day itself but back to work Boxing Day, so the festive drinking will be a few days early this year...

Oh good gracious that is truly awful!

Christmas dinner is mine, I do the cooking so there is the best part of a bottle of wine in the gravy, masses of brandy in the butter, an brandy inferno reminiscent of Buncefield on the pudding, at least a quarter bottle of whisky (not bl**dy teachers!) soaked into the cake and I'm usually half pi**ed by 10am...

I fookin' love Christmas me! (But not, of course, until it's ACTUALLY Christmas time...)
