Well, 10 and a half months after buying a Braumeister 20L, delayed for a variety of reasons, I finally got around to brewing my first all grain brew.

It's a Speidel AG kit named with stunning originality, Speidel IPA. A simple straight forward recipe.

There was a bit of shenanighans not unexpectedly as I figured out how to use half of the kit.

Anyway, after a large helping of stress laced with lashings of great fun there is 20L of wort in the fermenter.

OG was supposed to be 1.050 but came out at 1.055. I'm not quite sure why.

There have been a few bloops through the blow off tube so hopefully things are underway. 😊

Welcome fellow Braumeister.
They are a bit different, and you will find your recipes might need a tweek.

Please keep us posted. Be nice to here how the latest shiniest one works 👍🏻👍🏻
