This has been an ace thread to read through! Well done on the build and all the best for getting your beer sold, hope it continues to take off :thumb:

Yes things seem to be going pretty well at the moment, not quite to plan but getting there, I am in Talks with two Pubs with a View to supplying them with a permanent beer full time, which will help me big time, I am also getting quite a bit of repeat business with the selection of pubs I have supplied so far.

I am a million miles away from where I would like to be but one small step at a time builds a business, I will say its also bloody hard work, & Sales is the hardest part of it.

Thanks for all your continued support guys, I have beer at Tamworth Beer Festival 6th-8th sept if any of you are in the vicinity, and should also have beer at York Beer Festival 19-22nd September if you get to try any please let me Know...

Cheers

I applaud you Shane on this endevour

Business is very hard at the moment, and trying to break into new markets is especially hard when buyers don't want to take any risks.

I set up my business 8 years ago, a big risk but I did have the advantage of having a few very good clients which I have built on, but times are tough and I have probably gone from my best ever year to my worst in a matter of 6 months because of the Euro fiasco.

If you are passionate about you product, listen to your customers (and potential customers), keep your overheads down you should be fine. :thumb:

Well Done

just popped in for the first time in a while,

UP well done ill be in touch i have an outlet for you ;)

As Grays says times are tough but a quality product and a caring attitude will see us all through

speak soon Chaps

Sorry not been on here for a while as I have been rather Busy of late.

Glad to hear they sold out of my beer quickly, not a bad thing :D

I'm hoping to get some more up that way soon, I have to speak to the bloke a the Navigation at Buxworth, he was interested in trying some beer. hopefully I can get some more in at the old hall too, will let you know when I get some more in your area.

Too be honest though I dont have much beer to sell at the moment, its going faster than I can make it, which cannot be a bad thing I suppose, just need to get doing it full time, (will be soon am going full time in november).

Its much harder work than I envisaged though, very rewarding but very very hard work getting everything to fall into place on time every time.

Although I sometimes stop in at the Navi if walking past along the canal, I don't drink there often. The Old Hall is my local and Dan the landlord is great. Since he took over they have won many awards (best cask pub in the East & West Midlands in the ‘Great British Pub Awards’ for the last three years running among others) so your beer is in good company

Though it doesn't always feel like that in these hard times. :hmm:
Hard Times indeed, but it doesn't feel like the taxman is on Hard times, with the amount I am paying him each month, & I'm not even VAT registered yet.

I have some beers in Nottingham Beer Festival this week if any of you are visiting give em a try and let me know what you think....
