Temporary Hardness Boil Time

I don't really understand what you mean by trying temporary hardness? Here is a piece by Dave Miller about hardness.

@Pjam didn't see the other thread so not sure of the context but reading between the lines it sounds like you are talking about boiling to reduce the bicarbonate and then separating water off resultant chalk.that being the case - 30 mins rolling boil.
