Hi. I have naff all to do today, so i have decided i want to make a TC. As its on a whim, i dont have cider or champagne yeast. Will wilkos wine or ale yeast be suitable?
Thanks in advance

It depends on how high you intend the ABV to be, if its too high the ale yeast wont be up to the job.

I don't make cider so could have this totally wrong ;)

May be a little late but I always make my (supermarket juice) ciders with the slurry from my latest beer brew, so I’d say Wilkos Ale Yeast is a good choice (it’s Nottingham repackaged, I believe). It’s got an alcohol tolerance of up to 14% so should be good for anything you could conceivably call cider.
