I've been listening to these podcasts for a couple of days now whilst I've been working. I have learnt a hell of a lot that will improve my brewing, and they dispell many of the home brew myths flying around.

It's presented by 2 of the top names in American home brewing (John Palmer and Jamil Zainasheff) and they get guests on like Chris White from whitelabs and the guy from 5 star cleaning products. There's info for beginners and advanced brewers, and I really think a lot of people on this forum would glean some useful info; especially given the recent discussions on sanitization and yeast starters.

I've even started downloading them to my iPod so I can listen to them when I'm walking to the shops! :ugeek:

I'd definitely recommend the podcasts on:

Cleaning
Sanitizing
Bottling and Kegging (really good piece about the "secondary fermentation myth")
Sparging
Yeast Starters
The boil
Melanoidins

There's a podcast about brewing kit beers which I havent listened to yet, but I reckon it's worth a listen if you brew from kits.

Another recommendation from me - I've downloaded a few of these onto my ipod and often listen whilst flying around.

I do about 2 hours driving each way to work and I have listened to them all and also the jamil show ( another one they do where he clones beers and defines each beer style) they are entertaining and very informative. I have learnt as much from them as I have from the amazing hbf. It's just a shame its all American measurements. Also last episode of the jamil show he got the recipe for Greenwich meantime porter (one of my local favorites) :D

cheers, ive got a 4hr hour bus trip on saturday then again on sunday for the thistle match in dingwall, the boredom will be slightly less boring i imagine!

I've phoned into The Sunday Show a couple of times a few years back for DOTW (Drunk of the Week) at about 3-4aqm in the morning

Didn't win but they loved my accent, especially Beevo.

Jamil sent me a Mr Malty T-Shirt and Justin (the host) sent a Brewing Network Hop Grenade t-shirt.

Great Laugh and highly recommend the shows
