I have a spare tap for a kingkeg pressure barrel and I was thinking of fitting it to my fermenting bin to make syphoning easier. Any pros/cons?
Is there a certain height i should use otherwise the sediment will transfer too.
 
Will work fine, just keep the bottom of the tao a few mm from the level of the bottom of the bucket, assuming you will "overhang" when running off.

Those drum taps come apart too so are ace for cleaning :thumb:
