Am just drinking the first of a brew started on the 9 July and bottled 21 July. A Coopers English kit plus a Wilko 1.5kg lager for extra malt, Coopers kit yeast and dry hopped with some Bouclier hops from the Malt Miller bargain hop bin.
It was brewed at a rather warm time if I recall, but has dropped beautifully clear (as clear as if had been filtered clear) and has a wonderful flowery aftertaste if not chilled. Bit of a bouquet, but not as noticable as the aftertaste.
I did a similar brew some months ago, using a hop tea method with Cascade hops and that was a more powerful hop taste, but this is really quite delicate. Both a bit transient, I suspect.
Expected it to be a bit dodgy with the high fermenting temperatures, but it's great. I brewed this to 28L and added almost a kilo of sugar. If you pick up the cans in the Wilko sale it comes to about £19 - I got 53 500ml bottles and am very chuffed
