With work and the kids being off school just getting this posted

But its a fresh bag of grains

Malty goodness............Hey I seldom do these so I'm milking it :grin:

The boys standing to attention

HLT temp reached

Grains weighed

Pump fittings attached

Grains are in and copying Cussword I'm now filling with strike water :pray: ing I get temp

Bingo.....

Tucked up and time to cut the lawn

Hops weighed, with a sprinkle of protofloc on the cascade aroma

Sorry too busy with the sparge for pics, but heres the spent grains

First runnings

Looking clear

Quick check with the refractometer

But they're not camera friendly

Nearly at the the boil

Boiled and cooled

Aerated through the strainer

Break material and a tad under expected SG

Think that's enough breath in the brew

And nearly the spent hops....still a good bit of liquid in there, so need to pay more attention to the brew and not take pics

I'm still looking for a suitable pump, where did you get that one? It looks just like one I've got bookmarked in eBay but I don't fancy ordering from China.
