Hey guys.

Got a few beer kits ordered today, and previously, had been storing then in the house under the stairs. It's a cool temperature there, rangingfrom around 15-20c.

However, when got these ordered, missus moaned, saying she didn't want me storing them there. So, got me wondering whether there were any places they shouldn't be stored?! Is it ok to store them in the garage, where currently it's about 8-12c, or in the study upstairs, where it takes around 18-24c...

Opinions?!

Thanks guys

Oops, sorry. Helps too be a bit more in depth :-|

I meant storing them when bought in the runs before using them... :-?

i would imagine they would be fine at normal room temp, after the all the malt extract is going to be fermented t 20-24 degrees anyways.

Yeah, room temperature or cooler is fine. Let's face it, it's all sealed in a can and there's not a lot going to happen in there that hasn't happened already!

I've been storing cans at room temperature for years with no problems.

But in winter before opening, I always stand one on a radiator for an hour or in a pan of hot water to enable it to flow and mix more easily in the FV.
