Im new to brewing & still waiting for my first set of brewing kit to be delivered so while I wait im looking for guidence. The other half has one of those mini steam cleaner thingys she uses to clean the cooker (after ive used it for a fry up  ). Question is has or does anyone use one of these to sterilize equipment.

seen it used on a North American site once but no one in uk has ever mentioned it also as it need a constant contact time of 20 mins for steam to do its job properly ( someone will say differrent I am sure) it is much better to just soak your stuff in weak bleach solution and do something else whilst its serilising .
as an aside I have seen mention of using steam to raise the mash temp (again USA ) and was going to try it one day my self
