As I ramp up my home brewing I'm burning through the sterilisation consumables. I currently use VWP 400g, but I wonder if anyone has any recommendations as to what might be better/cheaper/larger quantities, and where I can get hold of it at the best price?

Thanks in advance

Its starsan all the way for me - very economical and no rinsing required.
Although I do still use VWP for cleaning from time to time

Use baby bottle Milton non rinse but on the plastic kegs and fv bucket I use household bleach around 1 tbl spoon a gallon and fill them up and soak for a while.never had any problems...BTW coopers reccomend it.IMO folk get hung up on sanitising but it really is quite hard to spoil a brew with general housekeeping

+1 starsan...Malt Miller has a generic (or repackaged) version that's the same but cheaper. Still us VWP etc for difficult cleaning but starsan for sterilisation....you can even put it n a spray bottle....skooshing things as you go along on brewday.
forgot to mention, key benefit is its no rinse.

Cheapo baby bottle tabs.
75p for 56 tabs from Asda.
I use 8 tabs in my fv, and drop all my tools in with it.

Another for StarSan here!

Loved the fact it's no rinse and I just dilute some in a skooshy bottle and sanitise away! I used VWP before and I find StarSan miles better by comparison.
