Been getting all the parts together to build a fermentation fridge soon and regarding the STC-1000 I'm not sure if I have the 'official' one? Got it from eBay (3rd link down if you search for STC-1000), it has Elitech on the front with STC-1000 down the side like in the picture but it doesn't have the CE sticker.
After seeing someone post an eBay link to a member from here who was selling them and it says on the auction: This is not a cheap copy of an Elitech item, it is Elitech without the name on the front. This is the one you want, not one with confusing language and symbols on the top!
Am I worrying over nothing or should I try and source an official one? Mine doesn't have any confusing language/symbols on the top and isn't one of the really cheap versions available on eBay which was mainly the reason for choosing that one, plus it had sold over 700 of the things. Unfortunately it seems the user from here no longer sells the STC-1000 on eBay
