Anyone else find this
First few pints are hoppy but then it fades out is it a bit of hop sludge in keg?
Would a hop bag on keg fix it

I am not an expert on hops by any means, are your hops becoming oxidised as you fill the keg? How are you filling the kegs? Are you flushing with CO2 when the beer is kegged to force out any oxygen?

I assume you must be dry hopping in the keg so yes a hop bag would help

The first few pints just seem tastier

i had a recent brew where in the first week it smacked you in the mouth with lovely hop flavour then less 4 days later all of a sudden ( and about 10 pints in ) is just lost it completely and tasted thin and dull without it.

Just checked my notes - They say brew it again! but drink it bloody quick!

obviously the hop hit fades but ive never experienced it so sudden as that.

Exactly what I'm on about thinking a ah of hops in keg

That would have its own issues I reckon. I am starting to think that anything with a hefty dry hop or even big whirlpool needs to be drunk very quick. If it’s malty as well it gets more complicated.
