:hat:Been today to my local brew shop and bought a St Peters Ruby beer kit that I have heard such good reports of, along with the beer kit I also got some Burgundy wine yeast for a Summer Fruits wine I've also started today. The wine I'm making from pre made up Summer Fruits juice in 2 litre plastic bottles from Aldi along with 2 kilos of Caster Sugar and a jar of home made Blackcurrant jam the wife made from fruits we picked five weeks ago. Put 2 litres of the diluted juice into a large pan and heat up hot enough to dissolve the sugar and the jam. Poor into pre washed and sterilized demijohn and top up to four litres leave to cool. Once cool enough sprinkle yeast and fit airlock and sit back to wait for some action.
Once intitial fermentation is over top up to one gallon.
Picture below of what I used.:drink:

One of the best kit beers around, and was my favourite before I started AG brewing. Needs a long time to mature but very much worth it.
