I wondered if anyone could help. When I used to brew, I used a cool box as my MT and a jug to recirculate and batch sparge.
Over the years since my last brew I have acquired an SSBrewtech Infussion MT and have the sparge arm and recirculation manifold.
Should I be using the recirculatiom manifold after the mash has finished until the wort runs clear and then swap to the sparge arm for the fly sparging? I will have to practice ‘throttling’ to maintain a steady 1” of liquid on the grain bed though!
Any hints and tips for this particular kit that I can think about to get ready?
