I get 'the idea that rugby fans that don't like head tackles are usually boxing fans' from the simple fact that it applies to every rugby fan I know.

Maybe, just maybe, the rugby fans I know are atypical of rugby fans in general. But I doubt it.

But Covrich is right; I'm a league fan primarily, but both codes are fiull of accusations that "the game is going soft", "bring back the biff", etc. Whilst at the same time, players have got bigger, faster, and fitter.
