Doing some spring cleaning and would be happy for someone to put these to good use. They are all used but in good shape. Most of the fermenters have the temp strip on them. I have brewed saison's and belgians in them so and would recommend a deep clean and sanitation just to be on the safe side. I did recently bleach clean all of them but they have sat unused for the last 6 months. SS one is brand new from some Italy company, has a small dent but should work fine.

It would be really cool if someone would make a donation to a charity of their choice or the forum for these. But if someone is not in the position to make it and they would use this stuff then that is great as well. Ultimately I would prefer if these went to a member to be used and hopefully not sold on the second market unless in need.

Pick up in Suffolk just outside of Stowmarket. I'll leave them outside in a box to be safe. I'll drop in some beers and would love some reviews too, just brief honest ones would be cool.

I'll get a pic up but in the middle of a brew right now!

also if a couple of members want to split it I'm fine with that.

Spiedel fermenters are great. They're made of thick "pressure-barrel-grade" material and are really easy to dismantle and clean thoroughly. I have four of them. My ony gripe is that nothing else fits them: you have to have a Speidel tap and a Speidel airlock (unless you undertake some DIY). Nevertheless, well worth having and a Godsend to any beginner who gets in first.
What are you using now since you're giving away an SS fermenter? Going commercial or giving up?

There's the bounty. I found a capper too I never use. The SS cooling coil may or may not go and it might look a little different, testing out a new one now.

Regulator is a US bottle fitting but can easily be replaced. The box has a bunch of random fittings and taps for a kegerator.

I have a couple of westvleteren crates if anyone is interested too in a little Belgian beer lore. And a bottle of aged westy 8 and 12 if they want it.

Yep correct I have a few ss brew buckets now I use. I have a couple of spiedels in use for kombucha and RO water collection still.

I also have to say I like my speidels as much as my brew buckets, and have not noticed any difference between the two. The spiedels can easily hook up a blow off tube on them as well, i have some extra tubing if someone wants to do that. They also have the plug end so you can drill and add a SS tap if you want. I am considering doing this with my last one.

I have a friend who has just started getting into brewing after I gave him a few bits. I have sent him this link! He is based near walsham le willows

Wow, that's super generous of you!
I'm in Suffolk and have to drive through Stowmarket every Wednesday anyway, so could pick up without making an 'unnecessary' journey. I could really do with a new large fermenter as I only have one, and the hop spider would be greatly appreciated. I wouldn't want to take more than that as I don't need it. I would happily help share stuff out with forumites though (i have a warehouse so can store it all until it is safe for people to venture out).

Sounds good, which fermeter do you want, I'll keep them separate for you? I'll keep it open for anyone else to pick up the other stuff and check back in with you early next week about the rest.

Thanks @Pennine I'd literally die for the SS one to be honest!
Obvs will make a donation.. would you rather NHS or the forum?

Ok so whats still available:

2 - 20l spiedel fermeters
2 - 12l spiedel fermenters
1 - 30l brew bag (fits robobrew size kettle)
2 random funnels, one with small screen
Bench capper with about 450 caps
Bottle brush
CO2 dual regulator (US/imperial? fitting can get a metric replacement)
Random kegerator air fittings and some spare taps
Stainless steel immersion chiller with quick snap hose fittings
used refractometer

Let me know if you want to pick anything up and we can leave out for pick up.

Hey @Pennine, I'd love those air fittings/spare taps if they are still going spare? Only issue (and no probs if this is too much of a PITA for you) is I'm up in the far north of Scotland, so would need them posted. Obviously more than happy to both cross your palm with silver for the postage and make a donation to a charity. But "no" is a perfectly acceptable answer too wink...

Hi,
I could do with a refractometer. Never got around to buying one. But the same as clyne, I live up north and are locked in to boot. So once again, happy to pay you for postage, but would understand if that's not for you.

So Nixhaz has graciously picked up the whole lot as she has some warehouse space to hold everything. She may also have the ability to post some items as well. I believe most things are available in the list except the refractometer. She will be monitoring this thread.

Hey @clyne I have the taps now and can post them onto you.. if you let me know your postcode I'll find out how much it will cost to post them and let you know. Couriers are usually extortionate up there, so presumably it would be Royal Mail.. Let me know what type of postage you would want (1st, 2nd, signed for, not etc) and I'll work it out tomorrow when I have it packaged up.

I would be happy to take the immersion chiller, brew bag and one of the fermentors if possible. I don't mind waiting until lock down is over

@samale which fermentor would you like to claim? There's 2 sizes...
I'm based near Woodbridge in Suffolk if you want to pick up. I'll hold onto them until it's all over if you like, or I don't mind sending out by courier if you don't mind paying for it. I'll put your name down on those items.
