I’ve just picked some up myself after your recommendation @Clint.
What dilution ratio did you use?

One teaspoon for 1-2 litres is what is recommended. This is the same chemical. I use warm water as it dissolves easily.

Nothing scientific...half a scoop/scoop in about 10 litres of hot water...but I must add that it's only for cleaning..I use starsan afterwards.

I'm hoping to be in a position of finishing up my AG set up and I'll be wanting to get it shiny-shiny.
Degrease, Oxy followed by ChemSan.

Same; I don't bother, other than cleaning, prior to boil / FV.
More than happy to be told I'm doing something wrong though.

Fair point but as I've been using various cutting oils and other dodgy compounds I'll feel happier giving everything a once over
Call me a nervous Nellie (go on - you know you want to) but I'll feel it's ready to go once I've splashed some Oxy!

Hi Guys,

I've started using this astonish cleaner which the manufacturer says is suitable / safe, today I got a 2 kg tub at B&M stores for £2.99 which I thought was a bit of a bargain !
