This "let's add a tiny amount of something really wacky to a massive vat of beer to make it sound dangerous and appeal to the hipsters" is getting *so* f**king tedious.

Brewdog knocked this on the head back in 2010 with "End of History", a beer spirit at 55% bottled and packaged in dead stoats.

This, the muppets from Iceland that decide to add ground whale to their beer and plenty more "lets try to get a headline" brews are doing nothing more for craft brewing.

It smacks of nothing more than "Oooh, it worked for those Scotch guys let's add dried testicles from a giant panda to our beer, we'll make millions too..."

It's a shame it takes a long time for these imbecilic sheep to go to the wall, they are a distraction, a nonsense, a drogue holding back the progress of real craft brewing.

If they had any clue they would have realised that you cannot do this more than once, be the first and you're an awesome pioneer, be the second and you're naffer than Jedward.

Furthermore, again to BD's credit (and although I can't speak first hand of these other breweries), BD back up the bravado and aggressive marketing hype with beer (whether personally you like it or not) which is very well made, pushes boundaries, does new things and is generally very good and very different. They have more than just a good PR team.
