Do you really need to use an airlock or a blow off tube inside a fridge?

As long as the fridge is clean and the door seals nothing is going to get in.

I just found out that I need to use a blow off in my fridge... luckily I had rigged it up as a habit.
:D

my only worries are, will the co2 travel the length of tube? and could water/vodka back syphon?
Yes and yes. If you put the blow off tube just under the surface of the liquid it shouldn't be able to get sucked into the fv :thumb:
