England have been poor this tournament. Don't think Eddie's been the smartest picking players who are not playing domestically. They look way off their best. I think back to drawing board.

France Wales game been brilliant contest so far

I think Wales will do this.

I think France are probably the best team in terms of skill of all the teams but they tend to lack a noggin at times.

I don't really understand union league is my game, my son played from age 6 to 14 then he discovered girls and the like in life, but well done Wales more misery on the french

Scotland could have....blah blah, same as usual. Turn the clock back 50 odd years...

It's 1960 something and my dad is watching the B&W telly in the front room. I'm a small Slid at the time, but remember the scenario:

"Come oon Scoatland, Coom owwwn, Yes, Yes, Yeeees, ooooohhh, Jeeesuuus, 'eee droooap't it.

Same most years. Did watch two Grand Slams though.

But that Jesus E Droptit has played about 200 games for Scotland in the meantime.

I honestly say this as a neutral I don't subscribe to the let's hate neighbors.

I just love the sport but that was a very entertaining match

Hard luck Wales. Red card seemed to actually might the French back up

Great game, scotland have come on big time.Honestly thought the scots would come 2nd.
As an england fan it is always a pleasure to see wales lose :p

Astonishing end to the France - Wales game, I stopped watching after the Red Card - another Ref as MOTM, I thought, but just for once, rugby won in the end.

Only just watched it now, as I went to U Tube to hear my new Fave tunes - Tales from Topographic Oceans by Yes. Overlooked this one in my youth, but is magnificent, except for side 3. Maybe I will live long enough to appreciate "Ancient" before the end of times.

Nous Sommes du Soleil, indeed.

My best mates Welsh so for pure sh*thousery I was supporting the French, but really i'm just jealous that England have been so poor.

Yeah, just how could they (the English) be so poor, given the richness of talent in the Premiership?
Dan Bigger ain't the best 10 in the league by any measure. Etc etc.
Rees-Zammit is the quickest, of all, though!

Well for the first game a lot of players were picked who had no real game time at club level. Tactically England were clueless against Wales in the first half and then Wales played much better 2nd half and deserved the win. I like Jones but this 6 nations has been a bit of a blot on his copy book.

What does anyone think of italy? TIme to introduce promotion/ relegation? Italy clearly have not progressed maybe it's best that georgia or whoever has a go and italy play games that they may win?

Italy show signs of being able to compete but can't keep it up for 80 minutes. Then under pressure the indiscipline comes in.

Since Parisse retired they haven't been at the same level.

I'm not sure Georgia would be better but it has been suggested a promotion playoff might help in the long term, if only to provide incentive.

Well half the team playing are no longer playing in the premiership and not at all prior to that.

Eddie appears to be rebuilding and rethinking a new game plan and tactical way of playing but well it doesn;t loko to be working it looks negative and static to me. I think the writing has been on the wall since last Autumn to be honest.. There are some very decent players in the premiership but I think the coaching is currently the issue.

As for Italy well from 2010 to around 2015 they were often taking scalps in the tournament but now cannot get within 30 points of anyone. I do think Georgia deserve a shot as a play off , they are big strong players and whilst they'd still be whipping boys the question is would over a long term would they improve beyond a level of competitiveness than Italy.

Logistically it woulnd be impossible otherwise the next team I woudl slot in would have been Japan.. yes I know it cannot be done but they are a team who certainly look exciting.

Sure i've heard that Japan may be joining the championship?

I think there has to be a promotion/relegation aspect to the 6 nations, you're right Georgia would still get hammered and who knows if they would progress further than Italy but they should be given a chance. I think a fair way to do it would be a play off of the winner of the european championship or whatever it's called and bottom placed 6 nations side.
