Because I'd have to keep putting half a teaspoon in to a bottle so a sugar cube is far easierWhy not just use half a teaspoon of granulated sugar? Has worked for me in over 200 brews.
Yeah but I'd have to keep ripping open sachets and that's not good environmental practiceMight work out a bit more expensive, but probably easier to get in the bottles.

I got bored reading that and I timed it and I could prime all my bottles quicker than reading your instructionsThe easiest way for priming is to get a small bowl or ramekin, put granulated sugar in it and use a funnel and a teaspoon to add a half teaspoon to each 500ml or 2L bottle. It takes scarcely a couple of minutes. Try lining up the bottles like soldiers in a laundry basket, so they can't fall over. The *** on bottling day is making sure the bottles are clean and fairly sterile before adding the priming sugar.
I did try using the little sugar wraps once - and once only, because they were a complete ball ache.
I have a king keg but have 2 brews readyOr just take the jump to kegs beer in co2 in drink
