hi am lookng at using my new hose the 1/2" bsp hosetails i got from BES have a restricting narrow hole. could i coax the hose over 3/4" bsp SS hosetails from bes? it could be an expensive mistake if i cant get the hose on..

I've just tried putting the hose (cold) over a 18mm marker pen and it went no probs, I would imagine the taper on the 3/4 barb would make it easier. I've never seen a 3/4" barb and I'm assuming its 19mm :hmm: Do you really need a 3/4" hose tail, I use 8mm ID stainless in my system and it's more than adequate :hmm:

thanks Vossy1, need?, perhaps no, but im having a rusty 1/2" mind steel drain tube being replaced by a 3/4" SS nipple, and the feed for the pump im considering to attach is also 3/4" and your tube is nice and wide so to bridge the gap it looks like a great candidate.
