Show us your DIY magnetic stirrer!

I've seen this on different forums and just wanted to make a thread here to.

I've just finished mine and I'm pretty pleased with it. After trying to find a cheap wooden box and failing I ended up buying 2 wood napkin holders. After waiting for part from China and then after waiting for the Acrylic Varnish to dry, this is what I ended up with. Hope you like it as much as I do.

At least we now know what was hovering over Gatwick just before last Christmas!

Here's mine, but I have to wonder where @Soyyojuli writes the occasional message to remove the stirrer bar!

Mine's not quite as fancy as yours but it's cheap, durable and works a treat acheers.

Hahaha at least that won't happen to you! I've attached 2 magnets under the lid and have a loose one there as well. That way I can put the stirrer there when it's not in use and theagnet there when it's in use. Also to get the bar out of the jar.
