I'm hoping to get a couple of pumps sorted out next year.

Hi A.T, the're the ones, great value for money, did you get them from Ningbo? I know some were worried about the finish inside but although i've only done 2 brews in one of them and been particular about cleaning, even got a steamer for me birthday (sad) the only part that seems a bit dodgy is the hole cut in the lid, seems to rust on the inside rim. I just spread a little vaseline on it after cleaning. Seems to do the job

  Loads of nice shiny!

I'm just off to dig out the plastic buckets

Having spent most of the day tidying the brewery...in a vain attempt to get rid of the bloody fruit flies. I took the opportunity of getting most of my shiny in one shot...Shield your eyes and behold :D (hope the photos aren't reduced in size like they were last time I posted.

Yes...I usually batch sparge, but with the underback I have the option of fly sparging without having to move any of the vessels.

I am currently in the process of setting up my HERMS ..should be brewing with it tomorrow..Hopefully I will get the opportunity to photograph the brewday and as I know my brewery is a bit unusual in that it uses Flojets..I will attempt give a tour then.

Excellent stuff    . Is the brewcart working or in progress :?:

The Brewcart is working but is also a work in progress....It actually is the starting point of the whole brewery in that I was allowed a "small" alcove in the laundry room (I know naive wasn't she ;) )

So the cart was built to exactly fit the alcove and Mash tun copper etc was selected to give me max capacity and flexibility whilst still fitting onto the cart. The 3 FVs also fit on a shelf above the brewery in the same alcove. I simply wheel it to the door during a brew to let the steam out.

I can comfortably achieve a 40litre brew (60L if the grain bill isn't too big) batch sparging and I don't have to lift any full vessels at any time.

The CFC is under the cart next to the underback.

Looking like I might need another alcove though shortly.. :hmm:
