here's the recipe. This was my favorite of all my beers the first time. Oatmeal Stout was a close second.
9 lbs. Domestic 2-Row,
8 oz. Caravienne,
8 oz. Carapils,
12 oz. Chocolate malt,
1 oz. of northern brewer hops,
1 oz. of cascade hops,
12 oz. maple syrup, I may add more maple syrup when it goes into the glass secondary. we'll see how it smells
s-05 yeast.
