This is exactly what is wrong with our country. JMHO......the High Courts are just too weak, the Magistrates are scared ****less. The Justice Minister (Gove) is a waste of our tax payers money. He (Gove) would not convict a puppy sitting next to a pile of poo.

There was an article in the papers last week saying that it can take 10 suspended sentences before a repeat offender is sent to jail. Some one in the Newcastle area was jailed for assault for 12 months and had 104 previous convictions, how unexpected!
It beggars belief that judges will say to offenders "I will warn you that if you appear before me again I will be forced to give you yet another warning"

We should have a 3 strikes and jail procedure for similar offences.

I've been spat at, people refusing to let me our of property s and threatened with pysical violance and people demanding I move the ambulance because they some where important to be (usually the dentist ).

My friends have been thrown down stairs, rugby tackled into walls. Items stolen out of the ambulance too. Hence why I now have to lock the ambulance.

There should be no such thing as full jails, that implies that we can only have so many criminals and the rest get away with it. The answer is build more jails and use them for serious criminals!

True. Most serious crime is committed by a very small percentage of the population. They keep putting people in jail with thing's like mental health problems or non payment of fines, which fills them up
