Funny, a couple of months ago I was saying that I thought that Tayside's perfect soft fruit conditions could translate well into hop growing. Seems I wasn't the only one.
 
Interesting read, even if it did come from the SNP's propaganda comic!

I bet we still have to buy our Tayside hops from Homebrew shops in Ireland though!
 
Probably. I'd be trying to get chummy with he farmers in the hope of a bale of hops.

If they turn out as good as our strawberries and raspberries we could be onto a winner.

One of the guys at work's dad used to work for the Hutton Institute, I wonder if he still has contacts!
