So long as you could guarantee the flow of wort being high enough without compacting the mash this could actually work rather well. /Phil.

I've not been posting much these last few months as I've not really had the time. I check new posts everyday and thats been it really. It's a customer related issue that tied Me up for a few months but is now hopefully resolved. I drove over a 1000 miles trying to resolve it. Technically I could have walked away but I tried My best to provide the solution required. Basically I can not work for peanuts and that's the crux of it. It's not something I can really go into on a forum as it would not be professional. As I say 'over a drink sometime' : BZ
