I'm planning a bit of me time tomorrow so I'm putting a brew on (an excuse to hide away from the wife n kids in the garage! To tell the truth I don't really need too, having 4 cornies in the kegerator and another 2 I filled up yesterday leaving me with only 2 empty... and over 80 litres currently in FV's! Looks like I'll be using some of those bottles I collected before deciding to go the corny route).

Anyway, I digress.

I've been brewing loads of pale hoppy beers lately so I'm going for a change.

The yeast is my first attempt at washing / reusing.... so we'll see if I managed to collect the yeast or just the trub

I got the mash on at 9.15, I also took a few pictures.

My false bottom now has handles.

The grain bill, mixed up.

The sparge is underway.

97g of Fuggles awaits, it should've been 100g but I seem to have a stock control issue, I was showing 197g!
Now I need to decide on East Kent or Savinjski Goldings for aroma.

Yesterday I made a shiny overcoat for the shiny boiler :D

Pitched my yeasties at 3.30 and just done with the cleaning up.
As usual I made too much beer :D 44 litres at 1051.

I just hope my yeast washing worked!

That's a brilliant setup, wish I had something like that.

80 litres in FV's  i'm in awe.

If my brew length was that big I would be drinking every night so I could get another brew day on the go.

I had to up the brewlength so I could brew faster than I drink! I've finally now got a "pipeline" on the go :D

I'm quite pleased with the setup (especially considering all 3 pots cost me less than the stainless boiler on sale in my LHBS), and now I have the basics sorted there'll be a lot more "tweaking" to come. In fact making the brewery is as much fun as the brewing. It's still not a patch on the drinking though!

I'm still using a plastic bin with a couple of elements in, where did you source the pots from they look like some of the catering ones I have had a look at before.

They're the pots from eBay France, the ones that most people seem to use.
