So was applying for a job over the weekend.

Application form complete and double checked. Saved. Sent. :thumb:

Today, filling out a different application so I go to my sent items to retrieve the application I sent yesterday so I can ctrlcctrlv some info. Ruddy thing is corrupted! Oh well, thats the end of that opportunity! :(

Sorry to hear that mate. Computers can be great but also a royal PITA

I hate applying for jobs online, nothing ever goes to plan, my computer works when it feels like it

I sent an email introducing my company to a potential client, wrote it read it finessed it checked it again and sent it. When I looked at it in my sent items out look had written in the subject line:

***Spam***PMC (a load of chinese Hieroglyphswhich I can't show) 123456

Surprisingly it actually got through

I am an IT Manager and hate the bloody things, I have 7 on and around my desk at home and NONE of them work properly, My main PC went t!ts up last night when I was bloody using it!

If you can't sort them, what chance do the rest of us have....   I'm just starting to get my head around an Arduino.... :wha:

I have to do a lot of my assessments and exam entries online nowadays with the infamously difficult systems of EdExcel and AQA. If this wasn't bad enough, our internet link at work is via sattelite to somewhere in Europe as we're so far out in the boonies that there's no broadband and when its windy, foggy, rainy, snowy or indeed, anything other than perfectly still and sunny then "Das Google" just crashes out continuously!

Luckily I still have a job but I'm looking at voluntary redundancy so it would be nice to have something lined up. Just irritating to lose an opportunity due to stupid computers.
