Hi looking to buy a Refractometer to make it easier to take measurements while making my wort with the grainfather.
The prices go anything from £50 down to £15 is there anybody that could recommend one or is it you get what you pay for?
 
I bought one a few months ago from China but I'm still unsure what I'm supposed to do with it. I'll keep an eye on this thread.
 
Make sure you read all instructions on use as they are great for reading OG but when I tried to read my FG it read 6Brix and I kept throwing yeast at it not knowing that I needed to add a correction factor due too the alcohol produced.
