I recently bought two 5 liter water bottles thinking "i will modify these babies to take an airlock and brew some wine from scratch" Problem is i cant find any recipes for making just 5 liters of wine.I have brewed many wines from kits and a few beers and ales, but never anything from scratch so really would need a good tried and tested wine recipe that i could follow.Hope you guys can point me in the right direction.

If you've got two of them, why not try a Basic White and a Wurzel's Orange?

Into each, 1.5 litres White Grape Juice
800g sugar
1 tsp Pectolase
1 strong mug of black tea
1 tsp Glycerine
General Purpose wine yeast + nutrient

One with 1 litre Orange Juice
One with 1 litre Apple Juice

Water to around 4.25 litres for starters, top up to 5 litres after one week.

Tannin, gives wine a slight astringency or sharpness.

Powdered tannin (derived from grape skins) is preferable, strong black tea is a useful substitute.
