Wonder if anyone can give me any input on this please.

I have 17 litres of Imperial Stout that has been in a corny keg since the end of June that I now want to bottle....I've effectively used the corny as a secondary.
I feel that to be sure it primes I should re-seed it with yeast.

I've seen a post somehwere referring to re-seeding with 0.1g of yeast....I can't find this post, so if someone could clarify or confirm on this point I'd be grateful.

What I was going to do was rehydrate the SO4 yeast & prepare primings, add these to my bottling bucket and then siphon the RIS on to these to get a good mixture....then bottle.
Does this sound good??

Thanks in advance. :D

0.1g of yeast is fine . . . I would suggest s-23 Lager yeast . . . it packs down well.

make your sugar syrup, rack the beer with as little disturbance as possible . . . I use another corny for this and purge it with CO2 . . . add the rehydrated yeast 1/2 way through filling. then bottle.

I was going to ask you how you planned on doing that mark when you were talking about it at Ilkley but I never got round to it!

So to you both I say! Thanks for the info! :D
