Force Carbing a keg from a pressure FV

My genius moment of the day. Kegged an NEIPA that needs to be carbed. Have an APA on day two of fermenting in my king keg that's been converted to a pressure FV. I'm running low on CO2. Simply ran a line from the cap has post to the dip tube on the corny, moved the spunding valve to the gas post and set to 15psi. Will get me most of the way to required carbonation in a few days. I'll need to chill and use CO2 from a bottle to finish it off, but it makes me happy to save a few grams of CO2!

I havent seen anyone force carb in the manor you descibe - Great idea.. But will the CO2 given off by the fermentation be under enough pressure to carb the beer?

I have previously seen that ,if you have them, you could sanitise and purge 3+ cornies from one active fermentation.

According to my (basic) carbonation app, at 15psi, 18c, I should get to about 1.8vols of CO2 after a week. Which isn't enough and too slow. BUT, the gas is bubbling up though the beer so a much greater contact area, akin to a carbonation stone. I'll give it a couple days, then put it out in the cold and take a sample and see how it's going. I'll use the CO2 cannister to finish it off if needed.
