anybody used the blichmann beer gun and are they any good

I have knock off version but it basically the same. They're good but your setup and style of drinking must conform to it. What I mean is, if you condition in a keg but drink from a bottle then it's the way to go. Another would be, you're always giving out bottles to friends who liked that batch.
The thing is it's not easy to setup and bottle. And you have to get used to it. Takes a lot of practice.

check out the pegas bottling taps, chinese ripp offs can be got for about £30 too, tho that is a gamble..

If your looking for a bottling device my advice would be to get a counter pressure filler. I did modify my beer gun so it acts like a counter pressure filler but it's kind of a pain to hold down the trigger while releasing the gas from the bung.

I have one, but found that since I can't chill my kegs, it's very difficult to fill bottles without lots of foam.

Agree with this, I mainly do pet bottles and this is a God send, takes a bit of knack to work out right psi But once I got it it's a breeze
