just wondered has anyone collected rain water of a green house in a storm and done a brew??? :wha:

Our greenhouse is covered with dust, a bit of algae and several varieties of bird ****.

The gutterings have never been cleaned since the day it was erected, several years ago.

So it's a “no” from me

it pi**es down all the time where i live and next door has just got a shiny new green house (just thinking!!!)

I think the experts will say that it'll be polluted...what with all the sh*t that gets pumped into the atmosphere...
I'd use what comes out the tap...thank you... :drink:

so none of that sh*t drops in the reservoirs that we drink from, or spring water full of dead vermin :?:ok i will stick to tap water

Quite a lot happens to it between the reservoir and your tap.

I know just seems a shame!!! when we were kids we used to drink stream water up in the mountains, nothing happened to us, apart from my mate has 3 nipples

Ditto...when we were kids we did the same...but a lot of spring water is filtered naturally through the earth..& as for the water that's from the taps..I've worked with some of the waterboards and seen what they do to H2o...I'll stick with what I know.. :thumb:

Top gear, I think I married your mate , I,m glad I had a spare ,Dieseljockey ,i,m with you .I do sub work for United Utilities and some of the stories........

rain water, flows natural and is natural ... checkout the film called water and see for your self

You can set up a filter type system from it, have a drain pipe going into barrel 1, then have an overflow pipe 3/4 way up it into barrel 2,then same again into barrel 3, and barrel 4 should be 0ppm or there abouts :)
