I brewed a 6 bottle Beaverdale Grenache Rose kit which is now clear and awaiting bottling. I just realised I have some bentonite left over which i should have put in at the start. Should i put it in now? When i say the wine is clear, it's clear in the glass but in the demijohn it almost looks like red wine! Also smells very slightly yeasty but i presume that will fade with time...

I also wouldn't mind sweetening it up a little. What's the best way to do this - i keep reading different things all over the internet it's quite confusing ...

Many thanks

If its already clear in the glass i would not bother with the bentonite, as for sweetening you can use sugar, or grape juice, i used to use 3 teaspoons of sugar in each 2 litre bottle which for me was like a medium sweet wine.
