... I always try to avoid stereotyping people, but ... ALL the other fasting advocating, fitness fanatic, grain based-vegan, care workers that I know of are too worried about the environment to go advising people to use single-use plastics when those people already have re-usable alternatives that would work just as well ... just saying :confused.:

I think we could all do with a nudge from time. Tbh Im more of a frugalist and minimalist rather than an environmentalist (although I do have Extinction Rebellion sticker on my recumbent if that counts :laugh8: ) which drives a lot of how I think and what I do, including brewing. But I think "accidental environmentalism" fit's nicely together with fugalism/minimalism and my world view. So I think I shall adopt a "multi use beer containment and fermenting vessel cover" (ie plastic lid) instead of cling film from now on athumb..
