Oh I see, thanks for pointing that out.
Even though I have gone through the registration process, I still get confused about certain points of notice 226.
Although it seems you don't need to be registered, you still have to make a declaration and keep records for HMCE inspection, furthermore it seems that it should be for your employees only. Clearly not appropriate for competitions in any case.

Exactly, if your not selling it or giving it away at public events, why should they care, I'm not sure they do actually
