Pressurising bber sphere with electric pump

I am wondering about pressurising my beersphere with the little 12v pump I have for my car tyres, this would only be used for topping up after the secondary fermentation and would not introduce much air, and compressed air has been used in Scotland to dipsense beer for years. Any comments?

Yes, you'll end up oxidising the beer.

It may be used for dispense in Scotland, but a cask is only meant to be on for a few days thus reducing the time the beer is exposed to air. Unless you're going to drink your 40 pints in a couple of days, I wouldn't even consider it.
