Im thinking I will go with http://www.thethriftyshopper.co.uk/brewer/beginners-bitter-starter-kit.aspx. It seems to offer good value for money.

Is it a safe site?

Ordered the kit and also the John Bull Irish Stout pack!!!

Just got a call from thrifty "Im very sorry we have run out of the english bitter and wont get anymore until Friday." (NOT A BIG DEAL) "As a sign of good will can we send you one of our better bitters, or would you rather wait for the english bitter?" :hmm:

Can you believe that I went for the better bitter! :lol:

Then came the next comment "IT WILL BE WITH YOU IN THE MORNING"

If this all comes tomorrow, thrifty will be the best company I have ever had any dealings with!

Is my Asda little angels sterilising fluid ok? It was only 80p a bottle.

Contains sodium hypochlorine <5%ww.

Not sure about the Asda Sterilizer fluid but I would have thought it would be similar to Milton and that's OK. Just give it all a good rinse after. Don't cut corners with the cleaning, Sterilizing and sanitizing it could be the difference between success and failure :thumb: anything that comes into contact with the beer or wine must be sterilized and that includes hydrometer, spoons, stirrers and your hands.

It was next to the Milton's but £2 cheaper. Im going to empty the garage and clean all the kit tomorrow. Then I will start full thread.
