I currently have 2 corny which I dispense using a superior picnic tap system. Which is length of thin beer line coiled and connected to picnip tap at one end and ball lock connection at other. At the picnic tap end a very short but thicker length of tubing pushes in to the quick release plastic joint/connection (I cant remember the name at moment excuse me) .
Yesterday xmas day i tried to connect my new Pluto Tap but couldnt.
The short length of tubing was far to wide while the thin beer line just fits inside the barbed hole of the tap so when i pull trigger beer simply pours out gun down beer line and onto floor.
Hope i have doscribed this good enough to explain the problem and get some much needed help/advice. Ty and look forward to replys

I was wrong in-fact the small section of tubing where the picnic tap was connected fits the barb at the bottom of the Pluto Gun......I put it in some boiling water first which made it both easier to remove and put on.
However after pouring a couple of pints I have to say I have been disappointed. I obviously upgraded from picnic to Pluto so I could fizz out a drink faster with a bigger frothy head. This hasnt happened and although it poured it did so rather boringly with very little head. My psi is sitting in double figures so have I done something wrong. I notice on the end of the Gun there is a screw that you can either tighten of slacken ....would there be a prefered position for this and what would be the purpose of this screw

I had to look up what a Pluto gun was, but it looks very much like what malt miller sell as a beer gun and according to one of there videos is an upgrade from a picnic tap. About 2 mins 20 into video

can't offer any advice but am interested in how you get on with it.

yes Honk this is near enough exactly what i have. Although I bought the nylon version around 15 quid as opposed to the stainless steel one at 50. I am happy with the product just disappointed in its initial lack of power compared to the picnic tap.

It could be that you need a shorter length line with the gun compared to the party tap, that should increase the flow.

Who sells the nylon version?

what would u estimate the length of 3/16 beer line I would need to pour a decent pint with the Pluto Gun?
