Pictures of brew day!

Hi all,

If my brewday goes ahead next weekend i'll take plenty of pics but as i have said previousely i am unable to post them!
If i was to post a thread of my brew day would it be possible for someone to add pics to it for me?

Get a free account with photobucket and link from there tis easy costs you nothing and you can hold lots of pictures on there.

Me and SWMBO decided not to use the net for such things Facebook (etc ect) due to previouse problems with ex's

I can post from my desktop but thats it but as you know thats not possible on this forum!

You just need somewhere on the 'net to host the pics Andy.

I've got bags of diskspace spare on my host - I could host them for you if you like?

Yeah, just shrink them to a sensible size - I use 1600px for the long edge, plenty big enough, and email them over.

I'll shove them on my webserver and send you back a URL which you can use to drop the images into your brewday post... :thumb:

Tapatalk is a forum app we use uploading pics is really easy if your ok with that app do it like that way

Tapatalk is brilliant if you are photographing from your phone and uploading.

I don't know if you can access (and upload to) your photo account outside of the app though...?

I sound like a right old fart but im not, i just don't bother with too much technology anymore.
I just learn and use what i need and thats it.
If i want to know or do something i just read up on it until i can do it.
My phone is a sony erricson X10 so not too bad but i don't go on the net with it don't use any apps on it and basically use it for calls txt's and taking the odd pics, so tapatalk is unknown to me!
Sorry if i seem a bit defeatist about this sort of thing but i know a bit about computers and a bit about phones (not alot) and i get by.

The only reason i was asking about the pics is because if i'm doing a brew day i would like to add a few as i find reading about brewdays with pics is much better.

Women are mind bending aliens from the planet zogg sent to manipulate men's minds into buying them shoes and clothes. Also they hell bent on stopping us from doing what we want, because evidently we are not capable of making decisions ourselves and can't cope on our own. :lol:

create a random new email address, not connected with you. Buy a PAYG mobile to get a number not connected to you, to verify the free email account (though you might not need this step). Set up an online free photo gallery with one of many suppliers (photobucket, Webshots, Picassa, Flickr etc, etc) link it to the new email address, and only ever upload brew day photos that don't have your (swmbo's) face in.
... and never link it to your other email addresses, and only ever post photo's on here.

Sucks that you guys have had problems with exs but i can understand how. If you use a photobuket account you do not need a new moblie. you can always do as Crastney says and link it to a new email address. your photobucket account does not have any of your personel details so I do not see how an ex could find you. I am sure that they would have more of a chance finding you here.

I know it can sound complicated if you are not the tech minded but I have found photobucket really straight forward.
