Why should they lose out because we are too spineless to stand up to our government and say no?

WE haven't got a government. We go through the motions of selecting MPs, but it's not our government, it's HM Government. Even the opposition is HM Opposition. Until we find the balls to tear down that whole rotten edifice, starting from the top, we're on a hiding to nothing.

Excellent idea. I can imaging the hours of prayer being led by the Head Honcho Hermit:

Interesting - the UK government is planning to push back the planned increase in the state pension age until after the next general election. I wonder why? Are they fearing riots?

Life expectancy has started to come down again but this hasn't if you are under 30 you are going to retire at 70
